We offer a Confidential Helpline during opening hours.

The aim of Tipperary Rape Crisis & Counselling Centre is to offer support to anyone who has experienced any form of sexual violence. It can be recent or some years ago or in childhood.

We take calls from people of all ages, creeds, ethnic groups and orientations. We will speak to friends, relatives about their concerns.

It takes courage to phone for the first time and we assure you that if you phone the helpline you will be treated with dignity and respect. Perhaps in visiting this website you are taking a first step towards contacting the Centre we encourage you to take the next step and call us.

OUR COUNCELLING AND SUPPORT SERVICES ARE FREE

Our work here at Tipperary Rape Crisis Centre is to provide services for Sexual Trauma and Abuse. Sexual abuse happens to far more children than most people ever believe or want to believe. In fact, around 65% of women who contact Rape Crisis Centres are adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
